NZD/USD hits 1-year lows

FXStreet (Córdoba) - The kiwi dropped further against the US dollar and NZD/USD reached levels not seen since September 2013. The pair recently bottomed at 0.8045 and bounced slightly to the upside, but the recovery failed to break above 0.8070.

Currently trades at 0.8060/65, down 0.70% for the day so far, headed toward the third daily loss in a row. Today is breaking below January lows and continues to approach 0.8000.

The kiwi is among the worst performers in the currency market and is falling across the baord. AUD/NZD rose from 1.0920 to 1.0980 while NZD/CAD was testing last week lows.
